The Gleneagles community is one of West Plano’s most prestigious, in large part because of the Gleneagles Country Club. The clubhouse is formally decorated in deep, rich woods and luxurious fabrics, bringing a sense of royalty to the facility. Available activities include fine dining, swimming, tennis and, of course, golf. Gleneagles has two 18-hole, championship courses, appropriately named King and Queen. The courses were designed by Von Hagge and Devlin, and incorporate fast greens, hilly terrain and several water features.

Another of West Plano’s country clubs is Prestonwood. Prestonwood incorporates two clubhouses and two championship courses, called The Creek and The Hills.
